The map has a named control
Modern Commando Combat lists M for showing or hiding the map. If that mapping is confirmed in the build, give the display a question before opening it. You might want to identify the relation between the current position and a visible objective. A map becomes more useful when you know what information you are seeking instead of opening and closing it without a purpose.
Connect symbols with the scene
Inspect any legend or explanation the actual game provides. Do not assume a colored mark represents an opponent, a destination or an ally merely because another shooter uses that convention. Compare a clearly identified map feature with the corresponding visible surroundings. That connection can help orientation without establishing a complete route or revealing areas the game has not documented.
Keep controls and tactics distinct
The source also lists movement, firing, crouching and reloading, but supplies no map scale, enemy behavior or mission sequence. Learn those actions from the interface rather than treating the map as a promise of tactical information. This note offers an orientation exercise inside the fictional shooter setting, not a tested combat route. Its focus is asking one location question that the displayed map can actually answer.
